Lance founded and led Equitas Group for over a decade working primarily in Southeast Asia and Haiti with projects and partners seeking justice, intervention, holistic restoration and advocacy for the vulnerable and oppressed. Equitas built strategic partnerships and collaborations through funding, advising, and advocating. Prior to Equitas, Lance served in senior leadership positions both in other philanthropic organizations, including a foundation concentrating on children at risk in multiple international regions, as well as faith-based entities. Most recently, Lance has shifted focus to consulting, mentoring, and spiritual counseling. He has three adult children and one grandchild. He and his wife, WynneD, presently reside in Chattanooga, TN.
