Who uses it?
Survivors of abuse and exploitation, individuals at-risk of harm and abuse, care teams, NGOs, government agencies.
How do participants access it?
Freedom Lifemap works on mobile, tablet, or desktop, even in low-bandwidth settings. It can be used offline and syncs automatically when reconnected.
How does Freedom Lifemap work with case management systems?
Freedom Lifemap complements existing systems by tracking change—not just services—and integrates securely through API connections to measure well-being and reduce vulnerability.
Has Freedom Lifemap been validated, and by whom?
Yes. Freedom Lifemap was co-created with the University of California, Irvine and lived-experience experts, and independently validated through the global pilot by the UK government’s Modern Slavery Innovation Fund.
Who owns the data and how is privacy protected?
Participants and partners own their data. FLM follows GDPR standards, uses consent-based data sharing, and stores all information securely and anonymously.
How long does onboarding take?
Most partners launch within six to eight weeks with full training and support.
Can it be adapted to our context?
Yes. FLM is customizable for language, culture, and legal frameworks.
Can FLM data inform national or global reports?
Yes. Aggregated insights can strengthen national and global trafficking reporting, including TIP reports.
