Bria King is a seasoned product strategist with over a decade of experience helping mission-driven organizations build and scale technology solutions for social good. She specializes in bringing zero-to-one products to market, guiding startups and nonprofits through discovery, validation, and go-to-market strategy to ensure product-market fit.
Bria spent six years at Thorn, a nonprofit that builds technology to defend children from sexual abuse. As Director of Product, she spearheaded the vision and strategy for tools that accelerated the identification of child exploitation victims and conducted discovery for new product offerings focused on prevention.
After Thorn, Bria founded her own consultancy, The Product Shop, collaborating with startups and nonprofits tackling complex social challenges, particularly in the anti-trafficking and child safety space. She has re-imagined and modernized anti-trafficking platforms, integrating cutting-edge technology to support the entire lifecycle of intervention—from victim identification to survivor recovery.
Her expertise spans user research, rapid prototyping, and iterative testing to refine product experiences, developing go-to-market strategies that resonate with stakeholders, and ensuring that solutions not only launch successfully but also drive measurable impact. She has worked closely with survivors, advocates, nonprofits, law enforcement, and tech companies to design and implement products that balance innovation with ethical responsibility.
Bria is passionate about leveraging technology as a force for good while remaining deeply aware of its risks. She thrives in navigating ambiguity, translating user insights into actionable product roadmaps, and bringing impactful products to life.
Every day human trafficking survivors are overcoming trauma and rebuilding their lives.
