A skilled human rights advocate, lawyer and communication specialist with over 8 years experience in program development, implementation and management, resource mobilisation, strategic planning, team leadership, strategic communication, policy and advocacy, data analysis and community engagement in the NGO sector. Helen is adept in fostering stakeholder partnerships and ensuring program compliance and quality. Highly driven to make a positive impact in the world, particularly passionate about human rights, gender equity and the rights of women and girls. She possesses expertise in social behaviour change communication, women , adolescent and youth SRHR programming, health systems strengthening, public relations, digital communication and knowledge transfer. Helen is committed to contributing to the success of beneficiaries, individuals, the organisation and communities by ensuring a human centred approach for social development.

Helen is currently the Head of Programs And Strategy at EverFree Uganda (Willow International), charged with overseeing and ensuring the seamless continuity of program activities, effective implementation of in-country strategies and corresponding program interventions. Providing leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team comprising the restoration, PMEAL, legal, prevention, advocacy, freedom and wellbeing teams.
